KPI Bridge Oil London supports the Royal National Lifeboat Institution
In November 2018 KPI Bridge Oil’s London office made a donation to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
James Enston, Managing Director, KPI Bridge Oil London explains:
“It has long been standard industry practise to send corporate gifts to our customers and suppliers for the festive season. In 2018 the team at KPI Bridge Oil London decided that we wanted to take a different approach to seasonal giving at Christmas so instead of sending gifts to our various business partners around the world we decided to commit to making a positive contribution to a worthwhile cause. In this case, we chose a charity that is focused on saving lives at sea – the RNLI.
The donation that we made to the RNLI will be allocated to funding a portion of the charity’s core expenses. Our donation is sufficient to cover the funds needed to meet the annual cost of boat repairs & maintenance at our local station, Tower Lifeboat Station. This station is the RNLI’s busiest and we are proud to be able to help to ensure their boat stays on the water.”
The RNLI is a UK charity dedicated to saving lives at sea. The charity, founded in 1824, has saved over 140,000 lives at sea. They provide lifeboats, a seasonal lifeguard service, coastal safety, flood response and research and education programmes.
“KPI Bridge Oil has a strong maritime heritage and we are passionate about the marine and shipping industry. We are proud to support a charity that works to protect the people and communities who live and work on the coast and inland waterways around the UK and Ireland.”
