KPI BRIDGE OIL ISTANBUL CELEBRATES 30 YEARS IN THE MARINE FUELS INDUSTRY

On Thursday 13th September, KPI Bridge Oil Istanbul celebrated its 30th Anniversary at the Swissotel, Bosphorus.

The evening commenced with a cocktail reception overlooking the magnificent Bosporus. The guests then enjoyed a gala dinner consisting of a delectable four courses of traditional Turkish delicacies. The evening also included a fascinating 3D video presentation of KPI Bridge Oil’s journey through the past 3 decades.

Okan Soyköse, General Manager, gave a speech, in appreciation of the support shown to the company over the years and of the hard-working Istanbul team. Okan finished by thanking the guests: “I can proudly say that my team and I are working hard for you every day. I very well know that creditability and ability to provide competitive terms, high quality fuel on time really do matter in this business. We will embrace our passion, which is you all and will do our best to be your valuable partner, building on the foundation of our strong collaborations. Thank you again for your trust in us.”

Søren Høll, CEO, also gave a speech and commented: “Having trusted and reliable counter parties has never been more important in today’s shipping market. Global operations, flexibility to use multiple sourcing channels and a well-established significant financial strength will be key differentiator for traders going forward. It is an honour to work with such dedicated, hardworking and professional people and I couldn’t be more excited about the journey forward into the next 30 years.”

After the speeches, the managers called the Istanbul team members to the stage to personally say thank you and show appreciation for loyal and exceptional work done.

The evening concluded with a live performance from the outstanding singer, Işin Karaça and her talented band. Guests were serenaded by her powerful vocals and when she sang the famous ‘Ankara’ nin Bağları’ many people joined the dancefloor for the traditional Ankara Misket dance.
